Dental Implant
Immediate Implants
A dental implant can be inserted into a location that has recently undergone extraction as part of immediate implants, a technique that is becoming more and more popular to conserve bone and shorten treatment timeframes. On the one hand, because the soft tissue envelope is retained, it reduces treatment time and may enhance aesthetics.
Departments: Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
focuses on a wide range of issues affecting the mouth, teeth, and facial regions, from corrective jaw surgery to aesthetic face surgery. In order to monitor and treat facial trauma, our specialists are uniquely qualified. Intraoral lacerations, avulsed (knocked out) teeth, fractured facial bones (face, nose, or eye socket), and broken jaws are the trauma injuries we treat. Small plates and screws are surgically inserted at the fracture site to treat and stabilise upper and/or lower jaw fractures. More importantly, there won't be much of an impact on the patient's face look. Teeth injuries and damage to the supporting dental structures are frequent and may require specialised dental care. One of several types of splinting is used to heal fractures in the supporting bone and replace missing or knocked-out teeth (stabilizing by wiring or bonding teeth together). We perform a variety of plastic surgery procedures, including adjusting jaw size, lip lengthening, lip reduction, cleft lip and palate repair, nose contouring, and more.
